We work on multiple levels to chip away at the inequities that have been built into our system for centuries.

We work across multiple levels to address inequities embedded in our communities for generations. Our mission is grounded in a simple belief: when philanthropic capital is paired with trusted relationships and a clear strategy, it can meaningfully change lives and strengthen communities.

Maiden Foundation’s work is guided by three core focus areas: 1) development of future young leaders, 2) community-centered economic equality, and 3) strategic investment in social service initiatives

HOW WE INVEST

We begin by listening. The voices, experiences, and priorities of the communities we serve shape our work. We take time to learn, assess need, and understand where our influence and resources can make the greatest difference. When alignment is clear, we commit with intention, defining measurable goals and a disciplined path to achieving them.

WHO WE WORK WITH

The Maiden Foundation believes that high impact can only be achieved with committed partners. We are drawn to change makers, and risk takers. Experts in their fields who, like us, understand the need to support equitable opportunity to lift the disenfranchised. Our partners mirror our passion and amplify our impact.

WHERE WE INVEST

Our work is rooted in Dallas, where our commitment to community impact began. At the same time, we recognize that opportunity for meaningful impact extends beyond any single geography. We invest alongside partners with deep community ties and lived understanding of the challenges at hand, wherever our model, relationships, and resources can serve as a catalyst for progress in under-resourced communities.

Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”
