The History of the Maiden Foundation
Maiden Foundation was established on April 17, 2005, in the living room of our family home on Russell Glen Lane in Dallas. What began as a faith-informed commitment to serve others grew into a broader platform designed to invest in people, strengthen communities, and extend impact beyond traditional ministry work.
Originally founded as Two Wins Foundation, the organization was rooted in a belief that service, stewardship, and compassion, when paired with action, can create meaningful and lasting change. From the beginning, our work has been guided by faith, but shaped by strategy, partnership, and a deep respect for the communities we serve.
In 2015, as we marked our 10-year milestone, our board and leadership team made a defining decision to evolve our model. We refined our focus and efforts from operating programs to strategically invest in nonprofit partners aligned with our mission. This transition allowed us to scale our impact by directing resources, expertise, and relationships toward organizations already embedded in the communities they serve.
Today, while we continue to host a few signature events that bring people together, the core of our work lies in charitable investment and partnership. Identical twin brothers and businessmen, Terrence and Tim Maiden, co-founded Two Wins Foundation in 2005 with a shared commitment to creating lasting community impact. Recognized for their business acumen and philanthropic leadership, Terrence has made his mark as a visionary real estate developer, while Tim has excelled as a respected bank executive.
Their professional endeavors have played a vital role in transformational community change, from spearheading major regional mall redevelopments to addressing the absence of financial institutions in under-resourced communities. Through their leadership, they continue to champion initiatives that drive economic empowerment and create opportunities where they are needed most.
