Tim Maiden is widely regarded for his leadership experience in the banking, education and non-profit sectors. Tim Maiden has worked in the finance industry since 2001, participating in over a billion dollars of capital transactions during his career. His experience includes sales leadership, community banking, middle-market lending, special assets committee, public finance and commercial real estate.
As Group Manager at Comerica Bank, Tim leads a commercial bank team focused on business banking growth and community development, helping local businesses access the capital and resources they need to thrive. In addition to his corporate leadership, Tim serves as a professor at the University of North Texas at Dallas, where he helped establish the Credit Analyst Certification Program—creating new career pathways for students interested in the banking industry.
Over the past decade, Tim has played an instrumental role in guiding several financial institutions expansion efforts in historical under resourced communities by building high-performing business banking teams, and driving community engagement initiatives. His commitment to community extends beyond banking—he currently serves on the boards of the Maiden Foundation, Goodwill Industries of Dallas, UNT Dallas Business School Advisory Committee, Duncanville Outreach Ministry, and Treasurer for Village Tech Schools.
A proud Horned Frog, Tim graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Liberal Arts. While at TCU, he lettered four years on the TCU Football Team, earning recognition as a Sun Bowl Champion (1998) and part of the Conference Championship Teams (1999 and 2000). He later earned a graduate degree from Dallas Baptist University, where he also served as an adjunct instructor.
A graduate of Leadership Southwest (2015) and Leadership Dallas (2017), Tim received the Chairman’s Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber and was honored twice by the Dallas Business Journal—first in 2015, and again in 2019 as a Minority Business Leader Honoree. He has been featured in multiple publications and remains an active voice for business growth and community impact throughout the region.
